Although the men of the Victorian time had it slightly easier than their female companions, it was still a time when the proper lady or gentleman made sure they were properly covered with high collars, layers of clothing and low boots. Men were wearing starched collars, frock coats, and although knickers were still worn by the young and the working class, the well-dressed gentleman wore long pants.
Our three styles of boots will look very nice with any gentleman’s costume of the 1800s from working class to ruling class. Two of the styles are lace up while the third are button up. Prince Albert himself would be proud to be seen in a pair of these shoes.
